Still Life with Golden Vase

I find great joy in painting colorful still lifes in the wintertime. This was done from a photo that I took a year ago. Whenever I receive flowers I quickly set up a still life and photograph it so that I have many warm, floral scenes to work with in the dead of winter. This is a very small painting but it packs a lot of punch!

    I like this one also. Great idea to take a picture and then have it to enjoy flowers and also paint them again. Great blog.
